Au Bon Marché is a leading retail group in Vanuatu, operating six supermarkets, a major wholesale division, and four fuel service stations nationwide.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Security Officer to maintain the safety and security of our stores, staff, customers, and assets during operating hours. This role includes monitoring facilities, conducting routine inspections, responding to incidents, and supporting management in creating a safe and secure shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain a visible security presence throughout the store
•Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment
•Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify risks or hazards
•Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies
•Collaborate with management to uphold a safe environment for staff and customers
•Ensure compliance with security policies and local regulations

Candidate Requirements

•Previous experience in a security role, preferably in retail or customer-facing settings
•Knowledge of security procedures, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols
•Strong observational skills with the ability to detect unusual or suspicious activity
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Good communication and interpersonal skills
•Physically fit and able to respond quickly to emergencies
•Understanding of local Vanuatu laws and security regulations (preferred)
•Valid security license or certification is an advantage

Remuneration

Salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and suitability for the position.
