The Organisation

World Car Rentals Vanuatu is the largest locally owned and operated car hire company in Port Vila.  Well known and trusted for professional service and competitive rates.  Offering specialised delivery/collection services and 24hr roadside assistance.

The Position

The Senior Customer Service Officer is in an important member of the Customer Service Team which looks after customers from booking through to dropping off the vehicle. Working alongside the General Manager to support the leading and training of a professional team.

Essential Selection Criteria

► Customer Service Expertise: Proven experience in delivering high-quality customer service, with strong communication skills in English and Bislama (French or Mandarin is a bonus).

► Leadership and Supervisory Skills: Ability to lead, train, and supervise Customer Service Officers and Drivers, including acting as the duty manager in the absence of the General Manager.

► Administrative and Technical Proficiency: Competence in using reservations software, email, and spreadsheets to manage bookings and data accurately.

► Planning and managing work and operation workflow, logistics: The ability to plan ahead, multitask and problem solve whilst running day to day operations.

► Flexibility and Reliability: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including, weekends, and public holidays, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail in all tasks.

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Fluent in Bislama and English and/or French/Mandarin

► Experience with an online reservations system and Microsoft applications

► Knowledge of motor mechanics.

► Experience in tourism or vehicle rental industry
