Job Description
The Senior Internal Audit Officer is responsible for planning and carrying out risk-focused internal audits across the organization. This role evaluates the effectiveness of internal controls, operational procedures, and governance practices while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and organizational policies. The position also provides independent recommendations to strengthen controls, improve operational efficiency, protect organizational assets, and enhance the reliability of financial and operational reporting.

Selection Criteria
•Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Professional Accounting, or a closely related field.
•A professional auditing or accounting certification is considered an advantage.
•At least 10 years of experience in internal auditing or a comparable auditing position.
•High ethical standards with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional independence.
•Strong analytical skills to assess risks, identify trends, and evaluate control effectiveness.
•Excellent attention to detail when reviewing financial records, systems, and operational processes.
•Sound understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to present audit findings and recommendations.
•Strong investigative and problem-solving abilities with a focus on practical improvements.
