Job Description:
The Senior Risk Officer role is responsible for identifying, analysing, assessing and mitigating risks that could potentially impact the organisation. The Senior Risk Officer will work closely with different departments to ensure that risk management strategies are integrated into all aspects of the organisation operations
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications/Experience
• The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Law or related field is required.
• Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
• Has good experience in legal background.
• Has excellent writing skills.
• The candidate must have more than five (5) years of experience in similar role.
• Experience in financial management, would be an advantage.

• Strong ability to analyze data and assess risk factors effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex risk concepts to various stakeholders.

• Ability to think strategically and align risks management practices with organizational goals.

• Establishing comprehensive processes for identifying and assess potential risks ensure that all types of risks (financial, operational, strategic and compliance) are considered.
• Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate identified risks
• Ensure that the organization adheres to relevant laws and regulations.
• Aligning risk management practices with the fund's strategic goals to ensure that risks are considered in decision making processes.
• Engaging with various stakeholders, including external auditors and regulators to ensure transparency and build trust in the Fund's risk management practices.
