Location: Port Vila & Santo
The Service Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the Service and Panel operations in both Port Vila and Santo. This role focuses on driving profitability, managing resources efficiently, and delivering an exceptional level of customer satisfaction. Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills are essential to build long-term customer relationships, expand market presence, and maintain a positive and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
•Achieve and exceed financial targets, KPIs, and company objectives
•Analyse financial and operational reports to guide departmental performance
•Ensure consistent productivity and efficiency across all service operations
•Manage workforce attendance, behaviour, and compliance with company policies
•Drive strong absorption rates and effective workshop utilisation
•Ensure accurate job costing and timely preparation of invoices before vehicle release
•Maintain security, safety, and upkeep of all workshop equipment and assets
•Ensure branch standards are consistently met and maintained
•Control labour costs by monitoring technician performance and efficiency
•Manage customer feedback, complaints, and service expectations (NPS / CSI results)
•Increase customer retention through service quality and engagement initiatives
•Promote the company and its brands through marketing and customer outreach activities
•Support ongoing training, development, and career progression for staff
•Ensure required reports are completed accurately and submitted on time
•Set annual performance targets aligned with company goals and vision
•Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and mentoring
•Visit customers, fleet clients, and prospective customers as required
•Enforce service policies, procedures, and operational controls
•Improve Customer Paid Unit (CPU) performance through proactive maintenance planning
•Implement customer care, quality assurance, and control programs
•Manage work-in-progress (WIP) to ensure timely vehicle turnaround
•Maintain full compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturer standards
Candidate Requirements
•TSA 21 Certification with Diagnostic Level accreditation
•At least 10 years of hands-on automotive industry experience
•Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role
•Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills
