Forney Enterprise kava exporters is a family owned and operated business, established in 2005 and located on the island of Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. We are the largest kava processing factory and exporter of kava powders in the world. We exclusively purchase our Kava from Santo and the surrounding Vanuatu Islands of Pentecost, Malekula, Epi, Ambrym, and Ambae.
Job Desctiption:
The Shift Supervisor (Drying, Milling, Blending, and Packaging) is responsible for overseeing the operations of drying, milling, blending and overall packaging. This role ensures that all procedures are carried out efficiently, in compliance with safety, quality, and production standards. The supervisor will manage a team of team leader and operators, maintain equipment, and ensure that the production targets are met while adhering to safety and HACCP protocols and maintaining the highest quality of output.
NOTE: The role will be on a shifting schedule to monitor the production closely.
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in food production or processing, with a focus on drying, milling, blending and packaging is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and processes, particularly HACCP, is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
