Position Description
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable professional to support our purchasing, stores, and operational functions.
Key responsibilities and requirements include:
•Prior experience in a comparable role will be highly regarded
•Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•Clear communication skills with a professional and presentable manner
•Physically fit and available to work flexible shifts as required
•Working knowledge of purchasing procedures, systems, and compliance standards
•Ability to assess suppliers based on quality, pricing, and service reliability
•Awareness of sourcing cost-effective and high-quality products
•Honest, dependable, and committed to high standards of work
•Competent computer skills with strong organisational ability
•Current manual driver’s licence
•Familiarity with OPERA Property Management System will be an advantage
Operational duties include:
•Receiving, storing, and distributing stock and supplies
•Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory systems
•Assisting with stock counts and preparing inventory reports
•Keeping storage areas clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards
•Providing support to purchasing and operational teams when required
Selection Criteria
•Completion of secondary education (hospitality-related tertiary qualifications preferred)
•At least three years’ experience in a similar role, with exposure to driving and guest service duties considered beneficial
•Strong English language skills, both verbal and written
•Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a busy hospitality environment
•Professional presentation and a strong sense of responsibility
