Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and construction machinery.
Key duties include:
•Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel and petrol engines in •trucks and light vehicles
•Servicing and maintaining drivetrain, electrical, hydraulic, braking, suspension, and clutch systems
•Repairing components of heavy machinery such as tracks, rollers, sprockets, cutting edges, cooling systems, and powertrain systems
•Working on Caterpillar and similar equipment, including electronic systems and computerized diagnostic tools
Requirements:
•At least 10 years of hands-on experience in repairing heavy trucks or construction equipment
•Trade qualification or vocational certificate in diesel/heavy automotive mechanics (or equivalent certification)
•Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems
•Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with teams and customers
•Experience using diagnostic software and modern heavy equipment systems
