Job Overview
Join a progressive and environmentally focused farming business dedicated to sustainable food production in Vanuatu. Located on Devils Point Road, Bukura, this operation specializes in producing premium-quality vegetables and livestock through modern aquaponic and integrated farming techniques.
We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor / Leading Hand to support day-to-day farm management and contribute to the expansion of our operations. This position is ideal for someone with leadership experience who enjoys practical, hands-on work and can effectively coordinate teams in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
Main Responsibilities
•Oversee daily farm operations and coordinate staff involved in harvesting, production, maintenance, and delivery activities.
•Assist with operational scheduling, inventory monitoring, purchasing, and reporting tasks.
•Take part in harvesting, packaging, logistics, and general farm upkeep when required.
•Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, efficiency, and organisational standards are maintained at all times.
•Essential Qualifications & Skills
Applicants should possess:
•A valid driver’s licence.
•Basic computer knowledge and confidence using digital tools.
•At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
•Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational abilities.
Preferred Experience
The following experience will be considered an advantage:
•Familiarity with XERO or similar accounting/management software.
•5 or more years of supervisory or management experience.
•Background in farming, agriculture, or related agricultural operations.
