Industry Sector Training Managers

We are seeking dynamic and experienced Industry Sector Training Managers to lead our various training departments at VIT. Position: Industry Sector Training Manager

6 Positions are available:

VIT/TM/01 Humanities and Science Training Manager
VIT/TM/02 Mechanical and Automotive Engineering
VIT/TM/03 Building and Civil Engineering
VIT/TM/04 Electrical and Technology Engineering
VIT/TM/05 Business Management
VIT/TM/06 Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Industry

Location: Port Vila, Vanuatu

Key Responsibilities:

• -Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day department operations to achieve financial goals while maintaining high educational standards.
• -Quality Management: Implement and uphold the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure excellence in our programs.
• -Marketing Initiatives: Drive course promotion to industry partners and the public, fostering growth and demand for our courses.
• -Budget Leadership: Contribute to financial planning by developing budgets and monitoring expenditures.
• -Course Development: Support course enhancements to meet market demands effectively.
• -Safety Compliance: Ensure our workshops comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations.
• -Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of dedicated professionals.
• -Stakeholder Engagement: Forge valuable partnerships with industry stakeholders across Vanuatu.

Qualifications and Experience:

• -Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
• -Minimum of 10 years industry experience in a related field
• -Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
• -Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
• -Knowledge of quality management systems.
• -Understanding of industry trends and needs.
• -Familiarity with Vanuatu Qualifications framework and the Vanuatu Quality Assurance Framework.
• -Experience in post school education and training and in particular competency- based training and assessment
• -Strong ICT skills especially Microsoft office applications

Salary: GRT Determination 19- Scale ADM 8- VT2,693,000- VT3,220,900 depending on qualifications and experience
