    Organization Description: 


    The purpose of the college is to be the Centre for the training of farmers and the acquisition of farming technologies and skills for enhancing agriculture production and, in so doing, contributing to Vanuatu's economic and social development.


     

    Job Description:


    Duties and Responsibilities

    Conduct skills gap analyses in the respective industry.

    Design detailed educational curriculum, including topics, dates and numbers of hours required per course.

    Create engaging training course content (videos, quizzes and activities).

    Select appropriate instructional methods, define time frames and prepare training materials in physical and digital formats.

    Design content delivery and assessment methods.

    Determine ways to integrate technology into the classroom.

    Evaluate and revise existing curriculum as needed.

    Provide training on use of newly design materials and workshops to trainers to ensure intended outcomes meet expectation.

    Analyze and resolve curriculum issues promptly and accurately by identifying key challenges and developing appropriate solutions.

    Stay abreast with latest innovations in curriculum implementation tools and techniques.

    Participate in the accreditation process for the college.

    Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining records and preparing reports.


     


    Selection Criteria:


    Essential Qualification and Requirements

    Candidate applying for this position must have a Bachelor or Master in education, instructional design or curriculum development

    Strong computer skills with research attributes and instructional design expertise

    Minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility and experience in higher education curriculum development, design of student information systems ad background in skills gap analysis and development.

    Strategic planning with strong pedagogic skills to create and design cutting-edge instructional material.

    Expert, Analytical and Innovative thinker

    Exceptional interpersonal skills, good listening abilities and an approachable nature.

    Honest, Reliable and proficient on matters relating to curriculum development. A good team player with abilities to induce innovative thinking.

    Excellent written and oral English or French and Bislama.


    Salary: VuV2,693,000 per annum.
