Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Mechanic / Workshop Supervisor to lead our workshop team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working on vehicles while supervising daily workshop operations.

The successful candidate will act as a working foreman, carrying out advanced diagnostics and repairs while mentoring mechanics, overseeing workflow, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring jobs are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Requirements
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent New Zealand qualification.
Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis is an advantage.
Minimum of 15 years' experience in automotive servicing and repair.
Minimum of 15 years' experience in a leadership, supervisory, or training role.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Good verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to lead, coach, and support a team of mechanics in a busy workshop environment.
